North Korea began to open up tourism |
TRAVELING familiar to South Korea. However, what if traveling to North Korea? The only country that is isolated, especially after under international pressure over its nuclear weapons. However, North Korea has now begun efforts to attract European tourists to travel.
North Korea has sent representatives to Switzerland to an event to attract visitors to their country. This effort is a step to revitalize the economy, after squeezing the nuclear issue through the tourism sector.
North Korea tourism representatives, Ri Yong Bom said, mountaineering, landmarks and beaches become the most promoted. However, according to Ri Yong Bom of Western tourists attracted by the remnants of the culture of the Iron Curtain countries.
"Mostly, they are interested to see our system, how it works, and how people live and current conditions," he said as quoted Stuff, Monday (19/01/2015).
Meanwhile, North Korea has attended ITB Berlin tourism trade for several years. However, Chief Executive Globetrotter Group, Andre Luethi said, the arrival of representatives of North Korea is the first in Berne.
